It's been a longgggg time!

Below: Jaiden was having a tea party last night.Needless to say we had more tea on the counter then in the cup, but she was so cute to watch and so proper. She made sure and share with all of us and when Hacha showed up she was all about showing him her party set.

Below: Jaiden in her pool (Hogan has since ate the giraffe:( ) She was looking so stylish in her swim cover up!

Below: Her and Papa were racing up and down the yard. She was having a great time dragging him everywhere. Sorry about the finger print on the picture....I didn't catch it for a few pictures.

Happy Birthday Daddy and uncle Derek! We had a great poker party with with Acasha and then went to the Rio on their actual birthday.

Below: Jaiden and her cousins Jackson and Carter dying eggs. Jaiden ended up dying Jackson more then the eggs, but we all had a great time. Due to weather we had an Easter egg hunt in the house. Jaiden found eggs all week long that were left behind.

Update:
Sorry for those of you looking for pictures or updates. Life has been crazy at the King residence. We are all so busy just making it through our day, trying to get as much finished on the house, working, spending quality time together you know all those good things that a part of everyone's life. So here are a few of our updates and I hope all is well with everyone.
Jaiden is getting so big! She will be 2 in August and man is she a sassy sue! She has started speaking in full sentences and I am pretty sure we are starting to see some of the terrible 2's although she is not so terrible. She is now singing her full ABC's and counting to 10 which is pretty amazing. Everything we say she repeats which is not always the best. Especially when we are shopping at Hobby Lobby and she starts saying "Oh Sh** Oh Sh** at the top of her lungs. I think I about passed out. Last week she got her first bed and she was so excited. Her favorite stuffed animal is a minnie mouse a friend of mine bought her when she was a baby. When the bed arrived that morning she went and got minnie and whispered "Come see my new bed Minnie!" Now everyone who comes to the house gets to see it. She hasn't started sleeping in it yet, but hopefully soon. She is very interested in it, but the room really isn't set up. She has a huge heart too. Last night while playing she would not let me sit on her bed. I started the fake cry and she ran over to me and said "I kiss it better mommy" then she allowed me on her bed. She is totally a Daddy's girl. We had about 2 weeks in there where she wanted nothing to do with me which broke my heart. It has finally turned around and she is back to wanting just me to do certain things and just David to do certain things. All together in the last few months she has just become this little grown up girl. I just love her so much and have so much fun being around her and watching her grow.
Hogan is also getting to be a moose. We sent him away to a 3 week boot camp, and he is so much more enjoyable to be around. Jaiden also loves him and loves to get in his bed or in his crate with him. Her new favorite thing is to take his leash and drag him around (more like he drags her around) and give him commands. It's so cute and funny to watch. We have had a couple trips to the vet. One pretty serious which made us make some changes to the house. He almost cut his foot off on the edging around the yard...poor baby! As the vet said, "thankfully him and not Jaiden as he will heal a lot faster then she would" Everyday is a process and we have to work with him, but it's a lot better then before.
Work has really picked up for David thankfully! It was a little nerve racking there for a while. It's good but stressful for him. He has been busy helping me around the house trying to get lots done. I think our list continues to get longer and longer each week. He has done so many wonderful things for me around here and is a wonderful husband. Other then being crazy at work and at home he is doing really well.
I guess I follow in Jaiden and Hogan's shoes and just keep getting bigger and bigger! I have been alot more active this round of pregnancy, but those dang pounds just keep coming. We found out 2 weeks ago that the baby is definitly a boy. So all those cute girl clothes will have to go at least for now. We are excited and nervous all at the same time more about the adjustment of having 2 then anything. I am sure it will all go great. Work has gotten crazy for me as well. David and I booked a week vacation for next week which will be a nice getaway for all 3 of us. We are also heading back to Wyoming in July/Aug as my parents are throwing us a wedding reception. I am so looking forward to the trip home.
I am sure there is a ton more that has occured in the last few months, but of course when you wait that long to update everyone you tend to leave a bunch out. I hope you all enjoy the pictures. They are a mixture of events. My parents came out a few different times and this weekend Hacha has been staying with us as you can see in the pictures. Enjoy!

Lots of News and Information

j Jaiden Helping her Daddy On our Snow Day

Daddy Builiding a tunnel for Hogan and Jaiden to play in (below)
Hogan enjoyed every bit of the snow (below) Our Big Family News!!! Coming in October
About 3 days prior to the snow day. We had put the sprinkler on the front lawn and Jaiden started running threw it in her clothes. I ran upstairs to change her and get her warm and the next thing I know she is running down the stairs with no clothes on saying "sprinkler, Run Now!" I put her little cover up on and let her play. I figured there was no harm and it was a beautiful day out. I know what to expect this summer!

Jaiden checking out the lizard at the zoo

Wow, it's been a long time. Things around here have been a little crazy and a little busy, but good. David has been traveling once or twice a week to their new Vail office and sometimes having to stay up there. I have been keeping busy at work not only doing a ton of admissions, but my Admissions Director is on Maternity leave which always makes things a little crazy. My mom and dad came and stayed with us for a few days which was really great! Jaiden especially loves to be spoiled by her grandparents and to have all the extra attention!!! Last weekend we had a Poker/casino night at our house to celebrate Acasha, David and Derek. It was a good time. I had never played poker before and the setting could not have been better. We had 2 tables going, the new to poker players and then the serious players......I would never make it a serious table. I am attaching a few pictures some of them old and some of them more recent. It has just been forever getting them off of my camera and to actually sit down in front of the computer. Hogan is adjusting to the family and we are to him. David still has a hard time breathing, but we are trying to figure all that out and hopefully soon for his sake. Jaiden loves Hogan....she runs around the house and yells at him to come on. She is fascinated with his tail at times and thinks it's funny to grab it. She also loves to share her food so he has been having to go outside during meals. She is growing up so quickly and is such a wonderful little girl. She has learned how to sing her ABC's the whole way through which is so cute. She had been singing them in sections and while my parents were here started singing the whole thing. Someday I will get one of the videos up of her. As usual, she cracks us up everyday. David and I were playing with her last night David said say "I love Daddy" and then I said say "I love Mommy" , Jaiden looked at both of us and with a smile said "I love Jaiden". It was so cute. Be sure to check out the picture of her. She has a sign making a huge announcement for our family!! One of these days I will figure out how to actually organize my pictures the way I want them on here. Owell, at least you get to see them. Also, our professional pictures are back. I emailed the link out, but was told by quite a few people they never received it. Here is the info you need below to access them if you want to take a look. It's www.kassidyphotography.com then go to "your photos" then click on Jodi and David and the password is Jodi. Enjoy and I hope everyone is doing well.

Jaiden at the kids Pool in Mexico
Hogan watching Jaiden from outside

This is where I found Jaiden this morning, just hanging out watching Hogan. She kept saying "sorry Hogan".

"Hola" this was one of her favorite things to say while in Mexixco. She was so funny she would pick up the phone and say it or when we saw people in the hall she would say it to them.

Just an Update and opinion request

Hi Everyone, I just was playing around with the backgrounds and trying to decide what brought the pictures out a little better so if you want to share your opinion please let me know. I am definitely not sold on this background and the few others I tried I didn't really like either. Anyway, as soon as I have our professional pictures back I will be posting the link to them so you can see them. I know these are a little hard to see.
So on to real business, we just got a new puppy last Friday and life has suddenly become a little busy. It's like adding a 2 year old to your family. He is a 9 week old Goldendoodle (golden retriever X poodle mix). He is so soft and cute but loves to jump, bite and everything else a puppy likes to do that requires constant watching. I think Jaiden was a little unsure about him in the beginning as he was stealing the spot light a little as well as trying to get her toys. She is starting to warm up a little and wants to see him every morning when she gets up. I am sure as time goes on they will become very good friends. Other then that things around our house are back to normal....whatever normal is. We are getting ready to do the things to the house we have put off for a while so I am so excited. I am hoping it will finally start to come together the way we want it and dream of. I will attach pictures of the puppy when I can, but I am not on our home computer now so it will be a day or two. Take care!

Note from Mrs. David King

We did it!! We are finally married and what an amazing experience.

Prior to leaving town Nicci put together a great surprise shower for me. I didn't even know or realize until actually entering into the her house and seeing my 2 girlfriends there. I am sure the look on my face was priceless. She did a great job of putting it together in a few days and we had a ton of fun and lots of sangria to prepare for the next week. (FYI I had given up on having one because time was so limited for everyone. Valerie had asked me for names and numbers or emails for weeks but as time went on there wasn't a good day and my stress level was through the roof. I had decided we wouldn't do one and therefore never gave them to anyone. Nicci actually pulled Marcia's email address off of a joint email and thank goodness cause she doesn't always check her email. Therefore they were unable to invite all of you so please don't be offended. We will be having a reception in the next few weeks at the house for everyone.)

After a long week of working it was finally here!

David, Jaiden and I arrived in Mexico on Monday Feb. 2. and Jaiden was such a great traveler especially for not getting to eat for a long period of time. We met up with our wedding planner Victoria on Tuesday and all the final details were decided on as well as an upgrade in our room to an ocean/pool view and plenty of deck for Jaiden to run around on. We spent the week spending lots of time with our families on the beach and in the kids pools as well as eating and drinking lots of cocktails. Stephen planned a great surprise fishing trip for David and he caught his first big fish ( I can't remember what kind) but minus getting a little sick he had a great day. Friday evening we had a mini cocktail party to inform everyone of the plan for Saturday. Jaiden and the kids danced and played on the stage at the kids disco, and Kelley put together an amazing slide show of David and me that played on the big screen in front of the resort guests....it was really touching and thoughtful! By Friday night all 51 of our family and friends had arrived, and we both were definitely ready for Saturday. Jaiden spent the night with Grandma and Papa, David stayed in our room and I stayed with my good friend Connie. I woke up early, went for a walk with Connie, Got a pedicure with my sister and attempted to have the spa do my hair ( I changed it in the room as it was NOT me at all!). David spent the day at the medical center as he was not feeling well and actually got a shot in the butt. (He won't forget that for sure). He did feel better and spent the rest of the afternoon getting ready in Stephen & Acasha's room. We all got ready in my room and a little after 3 and a few drinks later we were off on the golf cart. The site was so beautiful I can't even explain. David had chosen all the wedding music and I walked down to a live band on the beach. We weren't sure what to expect, but I have to say that the words and ceremony the judge performed was perfect....I wish we had video of it, but that slipped through the cracks...owell what do you do now. Our four witnesses had to come to the front and sign. They had to be there 4 days before the ceremony so Aunt Mel, Stacey, Jamie and Rebel were up there which I am sure had a lot of people questioning since they all weren't in the wedding party, but it was nice and great to have representation from both sides of the family. We did a champagne toast on the beach and a seashell ceremony. Each individual received a seashell and at the same time made a wish and threw it into the ocean. It was absolutely beautiful. Right afterwards it started to down pour and the whole time of the ceremony behind us was a rainbow shining down.......Not only is it good luck but provided us a sense of presence of those that aren't with us today.....It was perfect! We spent about 20 minutes waiting for the rain to clear in the bar taking shots and celebrating our marriage. We had a wonderful diner in a banquet room of the resort as well as a DJ to dance the night away. We ended the evening in the lobby bar with a few friends and family, dancing at the disco and finally off to celebrate alone! My wedding day was everything I had ever dreamed of and more. Just talking about it brings a smile to my face. We are both so happy and to have been able to share each others families with one another. The week and the day will be one we both cherish forever. Thank you to both of our families for supporting us and being there. Each one means so much to both David and me.....we love you all very much. We have so many great pictures and memories from this trip that will be with us forever. As we get new pictures from family or friends and Kassidy my good friend who took our professional photos I will be sure to share some more.

So, now we are back and both of us have taken the week off to relax together around the house. We got a few things done around here and tonight my birthday present, Christmas present, Valentines day and wedding band arrive.....Our puppy Hogan!!!
so I am having problems with the pictures attaching to it will be right after this.

Happy New Year and Everything!

Hi Everyone, Well, I have been a bit behind in blogging if you haven't noticed. We have so many exciting things that have happened and that are going on that I think it may take me a bit to catch you all up. Let's see, the 18th was my birthday! David took Great care of me. He had me open two of my gifts the night before which was awesome. He got me the flip video camera which I now carry everywhere with me...it's so small it fits in my purse. I had been wanting a video camera to record Jaiden as she says and does the funniest things so now I Will be able to share that with you all. On my birthday he made an amazing dinner and my two best girlfriends and their sig. others came over and I think as a group we had about 6 bottles of wine...I have to say I had probably the best time I have had in a long time with or without the wine. I was also surprised with a new puppy!!!! We haven't gotten it yet, but are working on that as we speak. I am so excited and can't wait to share photos when we bring him home. So from there we spent the next evening with his family as Aunt Mel was in town. Nicci made my favorite cake and my favorite chicken tacos!!! I have to say it was really really awesome. We left the next morning for Wyoming to celebrate Christmas with my family. The 8 hour drive was not so bad. We did stop once and tried to sleep but couldn't. Jaiden got sick about 20 minutes from my parents, but other then that she was really good. The Holidays as usual flew by and it was so nice to be with my family and to share our traditions with David. Jaiden didn't really get into it too much. Once she saw her Dora bike that was it. Now that we are home if she sees the packages around here she will bring them to you and say "open it". David Ice fished with my dad and I think may have caught the most fish both days. I think they about blew off the lake the last day but overall he had a great time. Jaiden enjoyed playing with all the kids and loved to go outside on Papa's swing even when the temperature was below zero. I think one of her favorite things was my sister's dog Ruby. She was so fascinated with her and often found lying in Ruby's bed with her or trying to ride her. Ruby was so good with her. She is starting a new phase in her development which hasn't been the most fun but we are making it through. She does not like to share and throws herself on the floor when she doesn't get her way. With so many little ones around and 3 little girls it was cute to see their interaction when it was good but we have some work to do on the sharing end. She is starting to test the water a bit too when it comes to rules. We came back that Saturday and again Jaiden did very very well traveling, Thanks to Devin loaning us his DVD player! We celebrated New Years at Nicci's which was really nice! We left before midnight and ended up falling asleep to a movie.....Are we getting old or what? So now the wedding planning is on. I am just trying to piece everything together and finish the final details. I think I need a week off to just work on that stuff, but I know it will all come together. Oh and in all of that I started running again. I signed up to do a 1/2 marathon in March and need to get my stuff together fast. I ran 5 miles already so I figure I am closer then I was a few weeks ago. Hopefully that will help with the stress of everything else going on. I don't have any pictures as they are still on David's camera, but I will get them out in the next couple of days. I do hope everyone is well and will try harder to keep this up. Love Jodi
