Jaiden at the kids Pool in Mexico
Hogan watching Jaiden from outside

This is where I found Jaiden this morning, just hanging out watching Hogan. She kept saying "sorry Hogan".

"Hola" this was one of her favorite things to say while in Mexixco. She was so funny she would pick up the phone and say it or when we saw people in the hall she would say it to them.

Just an Update and opinion request

Hi Everyone, I just was playing around with the backgrounds and trying to decide what brought the pictures out a little better so if you want to share your opinion please let me know. I am definitely not sold on this background and the few others I tried I didn't really like either. Anyway, as soon as I have our professional pictures back I will be posting the link to them so you can see them. I know these are a little hard to see.
So on to real business, we just got a new puppy last Friday and life has suddenly become a little busy. It's like adding a 2 year old to your family. He is a 9 week old Goldendoodle (golden retriever X poodle mix). He is so soft and cute but loves to jump, bite and everything else a puppy likes to do that requires constant watching. I think Jaiden was a little unsure about him in the beginning as he was stealing the spot light a little as well as trying to get her toys. She is starting to warm up a little and wants to see him every morning when she gets up. I am sure as time goes on they will become very good friends. Other then that things around our house are back to normal....whatever normal is. We are getting ready to do the things to the house we have put off for a while so I am so excited. I am hoping it will finally start to come together the way we want it and dream of. I will attach pictures of the puppy when I can, but I am not on our home computer now so it will be a day or two. Take care!

Note from Mrs. David King

We did it!! We are finally married and what an amazing experience.

Prior to leaving town Nicci put together a great surprise shower for me. I didn't even know or realize until actually entering into the her house and seeing my 2 girlfriends there. I am sure the look on my face was priceless. She did a great job of putting it together in a few days and we had a ton of fun and lots of sangria to prepare for the next week. (FYI I had given up on having one because time was so limited for everyone. Valerie had asked me for names and numbers or emails for weeks but as time went on there wasn't a good day and my stress level was through the roof. I had decided we wouldn't do one and therefore never gave them to anyone. Nicci actually pulled Marcia's email address off of a joint email and thank goodness cause she doesn't always check her email. Therefore they were unable to invite all of you so please don't be offended. We will be having a reception in the next few weeks at the house for everyone.)

After a long week of working it was finally here!

David, Jaiden and I arrived in Mexico on Monday Feb. 2. and Jaiden was such a great traveler especially for not getting to eat for a long period of time. We met up with our wedding planner Victoria on Tuesday and all the final details were decided on as well as an upgrade in our room to an ocean/pool view and plenty of deck for Jaiden to run around on. We spent the week spending lots of time with our families on the beach and in the kids pools as well as eating and drinking lots of cocktails. Stephen planned a great surprise fishing trip for David and he caught his first big fish ( I can't remember what kind) but minus getting a little sick he had a great day. Friday evening we had a mini cocktail party to inform everyone of the plan for Saturday. Jaiden and the kids danced and played on the stage at the kids disco, and Kelley put together an amazing slide show of David and me that played on the big screen in front of the resort guests....it was really touching and thoughtful! By Friday night all 51 of our family and friends had arrived, and we both were definitely ready for Saturday. Jaiden spent the night with Grandma and Papa, David stayed in our room and I stayed with my good friend Connie. I woke up early, went for a walk with Connie, Got a pedicure with my sister and attempted to have the spa do my hair ( I changed it in the room as it was NOT me at all!). David spent the day at the medical center as he was not feeling well and actually got a shot in the butt. (He won't forget that for sure). He did feel better and spent the rest of the afternoon getting ready in Stephen & Acasha's room. We all got ready in my room and a little after 3 and a few drinks later we were off on the golf cart. The site was so beautiful I can't even explain. David had chosen all the wedding music and I walked down to a live band on the beach. We weren't sure what to expect, but I have to say that the words and ceremony the judge performed was perfect....I wish we had video of it, but that slipped through the cracks...owell what do you do now. Our four witnesses had to come to the front and sign. They had to be there 4 days before the ceremony so Aunt Mel, Stacey, Jamie and Rebel were up there which I am sure had a lot of people questioning since they all weren't in the wedding party, but it was nice and great to have representation from both sides of the family. We did a champagne toast on the beach and a seashell ceremony. Each individual received a seashell and at the same time made a wish and threw it into the ocean. It was absolutely beautiful. Right afterwards it started to down pour and the whole time of the ceremony behind us was a rainbow shining down.......Not only is it good luck but provided us a sense of presence of those that aren't with us today.....It was perfect! We spent about 20 minutes waiting for the rain to clear in the bar taking shots and celebrating our marriage. We had a wonderful diner in a banquet room of the resort as well as a DJ to dance the night away. We ended the evening in the lobby bar with a few friends and family, dancing at the disco and finally off to celebrate alone! My wedding day was everything I had ever dreamed of and more. Just talking about it brings a smile to my face. We are both so happy and to have been able to share each others families with one another. The week and the day will be one we both cherish forever. Thank you to both of our families for supporting us and being there. Each one means so much to both David and me.....we love you all very much. We have so many great pictures and memories from this trip that will be with us forever. As we get new pictures from family or friends and Kassidy my good friend who took our professional photos I will be sure to share some more.

So, now we are back and both of us have taken the week off to relax together around the house. We got a few things done around here and tonight my birthday present, Christmas present, Valentines day and wedding band arrive.....Our puppy Hogan!!!
so I am having problems with the pictures attaching to it will be right after this.
